Optimum Online is the worst company, not just the worst cable company, but the worst company I have ever dealt with.On September 13, 2017, I switched to Verizon Fios, which I had every right to, and when I called to cancel my subscription with Optimum, the customer service representative (she was so rude) told me I had to pay for the entire month of September and that they would not pro-rate the bill.

When I asked why, she rudely just said I had to pay for the full month and refused to speak further about it and disconnected the call. This past year, I have had many problems with Optimum: Certain channels wouldn't work, saying that I did not have permission to access it, my upstairs telephone line would not work, my Wi-Fi would go in and out throughout the day. And now I have to pay for the whole month!!! I STRONGLY URGE CURRENT OPTIMUM SUBSCRIBERS TO LEAVE AND GO TO VERIZON FIOS OR ANOTHER CABLE OR SATELLITE PROVIDER SO THAT THIS DOES NOT HAPPEN TO ANYONE ELSE.

AND FOR PEOPLE LOOKING FOR A CABLE PROVIDER, DO NOT GO TO OPTIMUM!!!BELIEVE ME.
